Storiefy is a Shopify app that brings Instagram-like stories to e-commerce stores, allowing merchants to create dynamic, interactive content directly on their homepage, product pages, or collections. Built specifically for Shopify, the app helps brands keep their storefronts fresh while engaging customers in a familiar, mobile-first format.

The main challenge was building an app interface that supports visual storytelling without competing with it. To keep the focus on the stories themselves, the design avoids distracting colors and excessive visuals, relying instead on a clean, neutral UI. This approach allows merchants’ content and products to take center stage while creating a calm, intuitive environment for creating and managing stories.

The product was designed to help users create engaging stories quickly and track their performance with minimal effort. Clear layouts, simple flows, and reusable UI components form a flexible system of building blocks, making the interface easy to expand and adapt over time.
